Graduated from the University of Strasbourg's where he studied theories, genres and world cinemas, Cem is always eager to be on film sets. He acted in a few of his classmates films, and then enjoyed taking responsability behind the camera on the set as sound, light, and machinery technician or in the back office as editor and special effects designer.
Passionate and progressive, inspired by litterature, cinema and all other art form, he is always keen on meeting new people, starting new projects and discovering other cultures. Indeed, Cem believes audiovisual is the ultimate social tool. Practical and technical, he can adapt to the situation quickly to get the best results.

HARDWORK is the story of a filmmaking journey inspired by Dziga Vertov's Kino-Pravda. The camera operator, with his camera, his prostetic eye, make the connection between, men and women working hard, and his own filmming experience.
" The film deals in contrast: non verbal/verbal; sounds/music; entertainment/work, etc. This same duality lives in the temporal structure. I wanted the film to play like a memory, like an old photo you enjoy to look everytime you take it out from the drawer. "
